strive to make your tour a fun and memorable experience. Feel

wineries and sights in the area. There is always something
new happening in The Gorge, so each tour is a unique and educational
trip for us as well.

Hood River Tours founder Phillip, established the company
in 2003. Former window business owner in Atlanta, GA his dramatic
career change occurred after visiting The Gorge that very
year. He found a passion for the area with windsurfing and
the incredible scenery. He saw the potential growth of the
wine industry and has been very successful in developing a
wine centered tour operation.
Philip
commits himself wholeheartedly to developing the wine tour
business and learning about the local history. His enthusiasm
for the Gorge shows with every tour he gives.

Favorite Wine: Waving Tree Cab Reserve
Favorite Winery: Maryhill. Summer concerts on the
patio with a few of the river.
Christi was raised in the Yakima Valley region where she lived
among the agricultural community of grapes, hops, apples and
pears. After graduating from University of WA and working
at Microsoft, she moved to Hood River and started Hood River
tours along with Phillip.
She designs and maintaines the Hood River Tour site as well
as www.gorgeonline.com,
providing information about Hood River businesses, windsurfing
and other local sports.

enthusiasm and commitment to excellent service and growth
to the Gorge community contribute to the company's accomplishments.

Resident of the Dalles, Gail has worked as a UPS driver for
over 10 years. An expert on the local sights, Gail also has
a passion for wines & the vineyards of the Gorge.
His father owns a vineyard in Hood River and he loves to show
you the grapes there. His witty sense of humor adds fun to
the tours and makes all the guest feel comfortable.
